Letting Go by Kristie Holden

About the Exhibition

Kristie Holden is a Toronto-based artist creating textured beach-inspired landscapes andfigurative pieces with sand, modelling paste, hand-sewn fabric, and acrylic paint. She started in Fashion Design before moving into tech and building a boutique marketing consulting firm. After years of nonstop work and burnout, she picked up a paintbrush at 34 just for fun and found a space that felt grounding, creative, and in flow, letting her slow down and enjoy the process.

Sharing her work online led to collectors from Canada, the US, Europe, and New Zealand buying and commissioning pieces, giving her the freedom to leave consulting behind and focus on art full time. Inspired by floating in the ocean, walking along the beach, or horseback riding along the shore, her work is romantic, dreamy, and calming, offering a little escape from the rush of everyday life. Today she works as an international artist and is represented by The Bayshore Gallery in Naples, Florida.
